How do I get a demo of Rentals?
Open the live system at rentals.greenlixtechnologies.co.ke, or send us your details on WhatsApp (0710 557 540). We will walk you through the system using your own buildings as an example.
Does Rentals work with my own M-Pesa Paybill?
Yes. Rentals connects to your Safaricom Paybill. Tenants pay using their account number from the M-Pesa menu, or tap Pay now in the tenant portal for an STK prompt. Money goes to your Paybill; Rentals records and reconciles it automatically.
Which towns do you serve?
All of Kenya. Rentals is used online in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Machakos, Kisumu, Eldoret, Thika, Kiambu, Kitengela and every other town. Setup is done remotely; on-site training is available on request.
Can caretakers record water meter readings?
Yes. Caretakers record each unit's reading monthly. Rentals calculates units and the water bill at the building's rate and adds it to the invoice.
Can I manage buildings in different towns with different caretakers?
Yes. One owner account can hold many buildings in different towns. Each building gets its own caretaker, who only sees that building's tenants and payments.
Do tenants need to download an app?
No. Rentals works in any phone browser, and anyone can install it as the Rentals app from the browser menu (Add to Home screen).
Is my data safe?
Each user signs in with a password and a one-time code sent to their email. Caretakers only see their assigned buildings, and every M-Pesa payment code is recorded once so it can never be counted twice.
